Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park

Enjoy beautiful scenery on the cliffs overlooking Cardigan Island. Features an island nature reserve, dramatic cliffs, clear blue sea, maritime flowers. Many visitors see bottlenose dolphins, Atlantic grey seals, seal pups, harbour porpoises, sea-birds, rare choughs and skylarks. Features include shop and large cafe with fab views.

New Quay Honey Farm

The farm’s hives are located all over the beautiful unspoilt county of Ceredigion, and this is why the honey and mead produced is some of the finest available.Features include a shop, tearoom and bee-keeping exhibition.

The Welsh Wildlife Centre

Enjoy a 200 acre nature reserve on the river Teifi just outside Cardigan. Features include excellent bird watching hives, guided tours, walking and trail maps, tip sheets, activities like pond dipping, listening to bats. Excellent cafe and gift shop. Also the place to go for guided canoeing on the river.

Follow signs for Cardigan then Wildlife Centre is signposted.

The entrance for cars is in the village of Cilgerran.

There are lots of castles to explore in west Wales. After all that was the main way the Normans and their descendents controlled the unruly Welsh.

Most of Pembrokeshire is within the National Park and there are loads of local treasures and places to visit.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path
One of the most popular walks in the world. Right here on our doorstep is 186 miles of wonder.

Preseli Hills
Filled with mystique and with a power all their own the hills are easily accessed and can be visited on foot or by car. There are many wonderful places to explore and discover throughout the region. Highlights include ancient stone circles, natural wilderness, fantastic views and seemingly timeless countryside.
