The Stone Barn at Derlwyn is a cosy detached barn conversion just 4 miles from the stunning Ceredigion coastline of Cardigan Bay.

It is situated on a small farm run on organic principles. The farm consists of 16 acres of fields with ponds, wild flower meadows, orchards, woodland and a river which can be explored. We have a small flock of Jacobs sheep, three coloured cob horses called Dylan, Bruno and Rosie, a shetland called Betty and a variety of ducks, chickens and geese.

The nearest beaches are at Aberporth, just four miles away, and there is easy access to the other sandy beaches and fishing villages along this beautiful stretch of coastline. To the north is Aberystwyth and the Cambrian Mountains, to the south the Teifi valley and the attractions of Pembrokeshire. Cardigan, the nearest town, has a variety of shops including supermarkets, a range of cafes and restaurants and a thriving cinema / theatre complex.

The Stone Barn sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is downstairs with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Upstairs is a double bedroom with a comfortable double futon; it has limited head room. Downstairs is a good sized double sofa bed for two more guests if required. The good sized bathroom is downstairs and has a shower over the bath, toilet and wash hand basin.

The cosy living room has comfortable seating for 6 around a log burning stove. TV and DVDs, also Playstation.
The dining area seats 6.

The well equipped kitchen has a range of bespoke units, washing machine, built in cooker and hob and ceramic Belfast sink.

There is an enclosed garden with table chairs and a barbeque to the side of the cottage. Off road parking for 2 cars.

There are 16 acres of land to explore including ponds, a river and some woodland. Children will love the farm and can help feed the animals but must be supervised around the ponds and river.
