Summer sunshine may seem a long way away in January. But before we know it the flowers will be blossoming and leaves appearing on the trees again.
Good time for planning holidays in 2017.
If you’re planning your holidays now is a great time as most of us have a fairly clear diary. Things get really booked by the middle of January so its well worth booking early to make sure you get the dates you want.
If you’re thinking of a group booking let us know as soon as poss so we can do our best to accommodate you all comfortably. For all west Wales holidays 2015 promises to be a busy year.
West Wales comes alive in the early spring.
Early springtime is a great time to be on holiday in Wales.
Its wonderful to experience the beauty of nature as it transforms from dark winter to bright colourful spring.
The change takes place quickly, as soon as the days lengthen from the beginning of March.
Saint David’s day is on the 1st of March and people all over Wales wear daffodils to celebrate. Saint David is the patron saint of Wales (in case you didn’t know). So its not just at the rugby matches.
Summer can be pure gold.
Yes it rains in Wales. But when the sun shines it is transformed into a heavenly place. There are lots of beaches so there’s plenty of room (though avoid Mwnt on bank holidays!). The whole family can enjoy lazy days on the beach. The locals are well used to everyone enjoying the location so there’s always a good atmosphere.
In the evenings many of the beaches have small pubs where you can relax and enjoy the late sunsets over a pint or two.
There are lots of great walks in the area. You can walk on cliffs or hills, or by ancient rivers. All within a few miles of the farm here or St Dogmaels.
So get in gear and drop us a line or use the booking systems for each of the places we have on offer at the moment.
Look forward to meeting you in 2015 🙂
